Carbon vinylester pultruded solid round rods with rough surface . These rods have rough surface the (for bonding), protected by a removable film. They can be utilised in substitution of steel rebar in corrosive environments, as well as for structural anchoring of concrete or tuff walls. The anchoring can be realised by injection or by casting, utilising to component epoxy resins with proper viscosity, or mortar.

Instruction for use

The anchoring is performed by drilling a hole with traditional drilling equipment with dimension and lengths as per designed, the hole is then cleaned by air or water jets (the latter for mortar cement filling). Next the rod must be cut in the required length, the protection film must be removed and the bar is introduced into the hole. Next the two components of the epoxy system must be mixed according to instructions and must injected taking care to exhaust the air from the far end of the hole.
